The InVision Network, LLC
Background
The InVision Network Web Portal was created by individuals with direct experience with
children with disabilities. We saw the growing need to bring together therapists,
clinicians, educators, consultants, and those who have need of their support and
guidance; parents and family members, caregivers and trainees. We soon realized that
the same tools created for clinician and educators would have value to a broad array of
users in fields of education, recreation, clinical intervention and business. We look
forward to working with maximize the features of the Invision Network for you.
Company Summary
The InVision Network is incorporated as a limited liability company (LLC) in the State of
New Jersey. Founded in 2005, company shareholders and founders include: David
Raphael, Baltimore, MD; Joseph Korb, South Orange, NJ and David Rein, Syracuse,
NY. The InVision Network founding shareholders bring a broad array of professional
and personal backgrounds to the establishment of this new entity including over 40
years of experience in computer, Web and information system fields.
Senior management experience in leading internet service provider corporations.
Over 25 years of experience in the human services field.
Founding Partners
David Rein:
David Rein graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1990 with a
BS in Computer Science. He began his professional career with IBM developing
network-based multi-platform training systems for Financial Services. As a member of
the software development department for Bell Communications Research, he
participated in the development of network-grade highly available elements in the
telephony network as well as a wireless-enablement platform for mobile devices, such
as the Palm Pilot, POCKET PC, Blackberry, and laptops. At GoAmerica
Communications he was the principal architect, designer, and implementer of Go.Web,
the company's flagship product, providing wireless Web and e-mail access on mobile
devices. Other efforts include designing and developing a small-footprint Web browser
and POCKET PC application optimized for low speed, high latency networks.
Joseph Korb:
Joe Korb is a Director of GoAmerica, Inc. [Nasdaq GOAM], a leading
provider of wireless telecommunications services for people with hearing loss, where he
also served as President. Prior to co-founding GoAmerica in 1996, Joe was Vice
President of Business Development and Product Management for Ram Mobile Data,
which is now Cingular Wireless. Joe was also Vice President and Board Member of the
Portable Computing and Communications Association (PCCA), an industry trade
association.
Joe was also co-founder of EyeRover Media, LLC and NetEye Video, LLC, privately
held companies that specialize in software and video solutions for the security market.
EyeRover and NetEye provided various video monitoring and archival services through
service bureau and enterprise product lines.
David Raphael:
David Raphael was one of the founding directors of the Floortime
Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the Developmental,
Individual Difference, Relationship-based (DIRŪ/Floortime) approach to assessing and
treating children with autism and related disorders. David has over 25 years of
management experience including 10 years as executive director of non-profit
corporations. He is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Social Work and the
State University of New York at Albany.
Cory Virok:
Cory Virok graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2005. During and after college, he has held
several positions including Software Test Engineer for Thompson West, R & D Software
Engineer for Dolphin Technology and is currently employed as a Senior Consultant for
Headstrong, Inc.
